Amends Section 33-15-15 of the Mississippi Code to establish compensation coverage for personnel registered in the Mississippi Responder Management System.

Registered responders are entitled to state compensation for death, disability, or injury occurring while responding to officially declared emergencies or during emergency preparedness training.

Compensation payments follow the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Law schedule, paid to heirs in case of death or to the individual in case of injury or disability.

Applies to responders not otherwise covered under existing emergency management support force provisions, including health and medical response personnel identified through the state's credentialing and deployment system.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
