Repeals effective July 1, 2020, sections of the Local Privilege Tax Law imposing privilege taxes on various businesses including general businesses, taxicabs, retail stores, pawn brokers, weapons dealers, drilling rigs, and optometrists.

Repeals effective July 1, 2020, sections of the Slot Amusement Machine Tax Law authorizing annual license taxes on slot amusement machines operated by coin deposit.

Repeals effective July 1, 2020, Section 27-27-301 imposing taxes on automatic weighing machines, vending machines, postage stamp dispensers, and cigarette vending machines.

Brings forward multiple sections of the Local Privilege Tax Law and Slot Amusement Machine Tax Law for possible future amendment, including provisions on license applications, issuance procedures, exemptions, penalties, and tax collection procedures.

Changes reference in Section 27-17-423 from "State Tax Commission" to "Department of Revenue" regarding information furnished for drilling rig tax enforcement.
