Amends Section 63-17-75 of the Mississippi Code to clarify that blanket liability insurance requirements for motor vehicle dealers do not apply when the dealer's inventory contains no motor vehicles.

Motor vehicle dealers must maintain motor vehicle liability insurance providing blanket coverage on vehicles operated on public streets and highways, including dealership inventory, except as specified above.

Evidence of liability insurance for business and inventory vehicles must be filed with the license application, and applications will be denied without satisfactory proof of insurance.

Effective July 1, 2019.
