Creates a 13-member District Attorney File Management Task Force to examine and develop recommendations for a uniform file management system for all district attorney offices in Mississippi.

Task force duties include reviewing current file management software systems used by district attorneys, evaluating available software options, and developing recommendations for a statewide uniform system.

Membership comprises two House members (appointed by Speaker), two Senate members (appointed by Lieutenant Governor), three district attorneys (appointed by Governor), two judges (appointed by Governor), two MDITS representatives, and two PEER committee members.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature by December 1, 2019, including any proposed legislation.

Non-legislative members receive per diem compensation at rates specified in Section 25-3-69 and reimbursement for mileage and expenses; legislative members paid from contingent expense funds when Legislature is not in session.
