Amends Section 25-3-25 of Mississippi Code to authorize any county board of supervisors to pay additional annual salary supplements to county sheriffs beyond the base salaries set by population categories.

Allows each county to pay an additional supplement of up to $15,000 annually to their sheriff, at the board's discretion.

Maintains existing special supplement provisions for specific counties: Leflore, Rankin, Neshoba, Tunica, Hinds ($15,000), Wilkinson, Marshall, and Greene counties, each with justifications based on state facilities or unique circumstances.

Requires all sheriffs to complete 20 hours of approved continuing education in law enforcement annually, with the Mississippi Board on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Training reimbursing counties for training expenses.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
