Notes the 2019 campaign theme of "Balance for Better" and recognizes that gender balance is estimated to be over 200 years away according to the World Economic Forum's 2017 Global Gender Gap Report.

States that the empowerment of women is linked to economic growth, sustainable democracy, and inclusive security, and supports sustainable development achieving gender equality.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Capitol Press Corps.
