Commends the Sunflower County Emergency Medical Response Association on its twentieth anniversary, which began November 1, 1999, with the organization of Rescue Company 2 in Inverness, Mississippi

Recognizes the association's growth from a small volunteer group to over two dozen volunteers providing prehospital medical and trauma care, hazardous materials response, and specialized medical support across seven areas of Sunflower County at no charge to citizens

Acknowledges the volunteers' role in locating and recovering fallen Marines and Navy Corpsmen from Marine flight YANKY-72 crash on July 10, 2017, earning them Certificates of Appreciation from the United States Marine Corps and Distinguished Service Awards from the Marine Corps League

Notes the association's program structure has served as a foundational basis for establishing similar emergency medical response programs in other Mississippi counties

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to the Sunflower County Emergency Medical Response Association and the Capitol Press Corps
