Commends the life and legacy of Dr. Fitten Lamar McMillin, Jr., who passed away on December 3, 2018, and expresses deepest sympathy to his family, friends and community.

Honors Dr. McMillin's 35-year career as a family physician with River Region Health Systems beginning in 1975, starting with the Vicksburg Clinic and retiring from The Street Clinic.

Recognizes his educational background including a bachelor's degree from the University of the South, master's degree from the University of Arkansas, and medical doctorate from the University of Arkansas Medical Center.

Acknowledges his extensive community involvement as a Vicksburg National Military Park Guide, member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Vicksburg Foundation for Historic Preservation, Lions Club, and various historical and preservation organizations.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Dr. McMillin's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
