Recognizes Rogers' 55-year tenure beginning in 1964 and his deep connection to Pearl High School, where he was the Pirates' first quarterback and team captain.

Notes Rogers' outstanding athletic career, including his selection to the All-State Team his senior year when Pearl went 6-3, and his induction into the Mississippi Semi-Pro Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985 after playing minor and semi-pro baseball for 14 combined years.

Highlights Rogers' exceptional dedication and attendance record, including not missing a game in 35 years and only missing one half of a home game and one away game in 50 years.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Representative Rogers and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
