Recognizes and commends Ms. Lucy Allen for 41 years of service to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History upon her retirement on June 30, 2019.

Acknowledges Allen's major contributions including serving as project director for the Eudora Welty House and Gardens restoration, the Old Capitol full restoration and reopening, and the design and opening of the Two Mississippi Museums.

Notes Allen was invited to the House floor in February 2006 to witness the historic vote authorizing the full restoration of the Old Capitol following Hurricane Katrina damage.

Extends best wishes for Allen's continued success in future endeavors and directs distribution of the resolution to Allen and the Capitol Press Corps.
