Commends Dr. Beverly Wade Hogan for her distinguished career and leadership as President of Tougaloo College from 2002 to 2019, serving for 17 years as the institution's 13th president and first female leader.

Recognizes her establishment of new undergraduate degree programs in mass communications, hotel and hospitality management, and religious studies, plus two graduate programs, and creation of the Honors Program, Center for Undergraduate Research, Center for International Studies and Global Change, and Institute for the Study of Modern Day Slavery.

Acknowledges her significant technological and infrastructure improvements including campus-wide connectivity, smart classrooms, wireless networks, library renovation, and construction of the Bennie G. Thompson Academic and Civil Rights Research Center.

Notes her extensive service on boards for nonprofit organizations, higher education associations, President Obama's HBCU Advisory Board, and her role as Chairperson of the HBCU Capital Financing Program Advisory Board.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Dr. Hogan and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
