Commends Dr. Eddie A. Holloway upon his retirement as Dean of Students for the University of Southern Mississippi after nearly 36 years in higher education and student affairs.

Recognizes Dr. Holloway's educational credentials including a bachelor's degree in sociology and personnel management, two master's degrees in community counseling and public health education, and a doctorate in educational administration, all from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Honors his service as Dean of Students overseeing University Police, Greek Life, Student Counseling Center, Campus Judicial Services, and multiple other student-focused departments and programs.

Acknowledges his 16 years of service on Hattiesburg's city council representing Ward 2, including roles as council president and vice president, and his extensive involvement in community organizations and boards.

Recognizes his numerous awards and honors including the Outstanding Mississippian Award (1989), University of Southern Mississippi Hall of Fame (2004), and Administrator of the Year (2009).
