Commends Representative Preston E. Sullivan of Chickasaw for his retirement from the Mississippi House of Representatives after 16 years of legislative service representing House District 22.

Sullivan served as Chairman of the Agriculture Committee (2012-2016), Vice Chairman of the Appropriations Committee (2008-2012), and Vice Chairman of the Rules Committee (2006-2008), plus membership on nine additional committees.

Sullivan's background includes 1965 graduation from Okolona High School, attendance at Itawamba Community College and Mississippi State University, six years in the Army National Guard, and service on the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors and Okolona Municipal Separate School District Board of Trustees.

Sullivan is a cattleman and farmer active in the Mississippi Cattlemen's Association, National Rifle Association, Okolona Chamber of Commerce, Mississippi Farm Bureau, and the Masons.

Directs the House to furnish copies of the resolution to Representative Sullivan and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
