Commends Representative Margaret Ellis Rogers of House District 14 (Union County) for 15 years of legislative service, retiring at the conclusion of the 2019 Regular Session.

Rogers served on 24 committees including State Library (Chairperson), Oil and Gas and Other Minerals (Vice Chairperson), and Energy (Vice Chairperson), among others.

Prior to her 2004 election, Rogers graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.B.A. and worked as an auditor for the Mississippi Department of Audit.

Rogers has been active in her community through memberships in the American Legion Auxiliary, New Albany Main Street Association, Union County Development Association, and First United Methodist Church.

Expresses respect for Rogers' service to her constituents and the state, acknowledging her family's support throughout her legislative career.
