Designates Friday, February 1, 2019, as "Wear Red Day" in Mississippi to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease in women.

Recognizes that cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women in the United States, killing one woman approximately every 80 seconds.

Notes that about 80 percent of cardiovascular diseases in women are preventable through lifestyle changes including diet, exercise, and smoking cessation.

Encourages all Mississippi citizens to wear red and support the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" movement to increase awareness of women's heart disease risk and prevention.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the Mississippi Chapter of the American Heart Association, the State Board of Health, and the Capitol Press Corps.
