Commemorates Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. on the occasion of its 2019 "AKA Day at the Mississippi State Capitol" held on February 7, 2019, recognizing over 100 members who attended to promote civil rights, social justice, and voter empowerment.

Acknowledges Alpha Kappa Alpha as the first Greek-letter sorority for college-educated African-American women, founded in 1908 at Howard University with over 300,000 members in more than 1,000 chapters worldwide and more than 30 active chapters in Mississippi.

Recognizes six Alpha Kappa Alpha members serving in the Mississippi Legislature: Representatives Sonya Williams-Barnes, Alyce G. Clarke, Angela Cockerham, Debra H. Gibbs, and LaTaisha Jackson, plus Senator Tammy Witherspoon.

Honors the sorority's commitment to community service, including their 2018-2022 program initiatives under "Exemplifying Excellence through Sustainable Service" and their contribution of more than two million hours of community service.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Alpha Kappa Alpha's Mississippi chapter representatives and the Capitol Press Corps.
