Recognizes and commends Lieutenant Colonel Allen B. West for over 22 years of service in the United States Army and his exceptional military accomplishments.

Honors West's military decorations including a Bronze Star, three Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, and a Valorous Unit Award, as well as his 1993 designation as United States Army ROTC Instructor of the Year.

Acknowledges West's election to the United States Congress in November 2010 representing Florida's 22nd District and his service on the Small Business and Armed Services Committee.

Recognizes West's post-military career as a Fox News contributor, author, podcast host, and director of the Booker T. Washington Initiative at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, as well as his memberships in numerous veterans and professional organizations.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Lieutenant Colonel Allen B. West and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
