Reenacts Mississippi Code sections 85-7-301 through 85-7-315 to establish and maintain a lien on causes of action for injured persons receiving uncompensated traumatic burn care at state-designated burn centers.

Allows qualifying hospitals and physician practices to perfect a lien by providing written notice to the patient and liable parties at least 15 days before filing a verified statement with the chancery court clerk.

Requires liens to be filed within 75 days of hospital discharge or 90 days of first treatment by a qualifying practice, with liens limited to no more than 50% of the claimant's net award.

Exempts causes of action where medical costs were paid by Medicare/Medicaid or involve workers' compensation benefits from lien provisions.

Repeals the sunset provision (Section 85-7-317) making the burn care lien provisions permanent rather than temporary, effective July 1, 2019.
