Creates new Section 25-61-11.2 to exempt specific information technology (IT) records from the Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983, including network architecture, source code, hardware/software inventories, security plans, vulnerability reports, and authentication credentials.

Amends Sections 9-5-169, 25-61-5, 25-59-19, 25-61-10, and 31-7-111 to reference the new IT exemption and conform existing public records provisions to the exemptions established in this act.

Exempts IT records that, if disclosed, could allow unauthorized access to the state's IT assets, including audit reports, assessments, compliance reports, and related work papers.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
