Amends Mississippi Code Section 43-21-353 to require the Department of Child Protection Services to notify the applicable military installation family advocacy program when a parent or other person responsible for an abused or neglected child maintains active duty military status.

The notification to the military family advocacy program must occur when the Department of Child Protection Services determines there is an allegation of abuse or neglect relating to a child whose caregiver is on active military duty.

Maintains all existing confidentiality protections and reporting procedures for child abuse and neglect investigations while adding this military notification requirement.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
