Amends Section 37-9-105 of the Mississippi Code to add notification requirements for assistant teachers who will not be offered renewal contracts.

Requires superintendents to provide assistant teachers written notice of nonreemployment by June 30 but no later than 10 days after the local school board adopts the district's annual budget for the forthcoming academic school year.

Establishes notification deadlines of March 1 for principals and April 15 (or 10 days after Governor approval of education budget, whichever is later) for teachers, administrators, and other professional educators.

Exempts interim conservators and school boards under financial advisor recommendations from the specified time limitations for recommending employee reemployment.

Effective date: July 1, 2019.
