Reenacts and consolidates multiple sections of Mississippi employment security law, workforce development, TANF, and child support statutes without substantive changes to existing provisions.

Extends the repeal date of Chapter 572, Laws of 2004 (establishing the Mississippi Workforce Investment Board and transferring powers to the Department of Employment Security) from July 1, 2019 to July 1, 2023.

Reestablishes the Mississippi Department of Employment Security in the Office of the Governor with authority over unemployment compensation, employment services, workforce development, and related programs.

Reenacts the Mississippi State Workforce Investment Board structure with 41 voting members (majority from business/industry) and establishes duties including strategic planning, coordination of workforce programs, and oversight of local workforce investment areas.

Reaffirms TANF eligibility requirements, work activities, sanctions, school attendance provisions for minors, and child support enforcement mechanisms administered by the Department of Human Services.
