Raises the age of consent for sexual activity between school employees and students from 18 to 21 years old in Section 97-5-24.

Increases the age threshold in Section 97-29-3 for the crime of sexual intercourse between a teacher and pupil from under 18 to under 21 years of age, with penalties of up to $500 fine and 3-6 months imprisonment for the teacher.

Extends sexual battery protections in Section 97-3-95 to include minors under 21 years old who are in positions of trust or authority (including teachers, counselors, coaches, and guardians).

Requires school principals and superintendents to report accusations of sexual involvement between school employees and students under 21 to the district attorney, Mississippi Department of Education, and Department of Human Services if there is reasonable basis to believe the accusation is true.

Effective date of July 1, 2019.
