Amends Section 11-17-1 of the Mississippi Code to clarify that failure to read aloud the entire metes and bounds description of a property does not invalidate a tax sale.

Applies to persons holding or claiming tax title to lands sold for taxes after the period of redemption has expired who seek to confirm and quiet their title in chancery court.

Preserves all existing procedures for tax title confirmation suits, including requirements for identifying interested parties and publishing notice.

Establishes that a judgment confirming tax title vests good and sufficient title in the plaintiff without need for conveyance by a master or commissioner.

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
