Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-3-309 to allow motorcycles and bicycles to proceed through red lights under specific circumstances.

A motorcycle or bicycle that is the sole occupant of a lane and does not trigger the traffic sensor for a green light may cautiously enter the intersection to proceed through or make a turn.

Motorcycles and bicycles proceeding under this provision must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians lawfully within crosswalks and other vehicular traffic lawfully using the intersection.

"No Turn On Red" signs still prohibit turns by motorcycles and bicycles, even under this new provision.

Effective July 1, 2019.
