Amends Section 25-15-303 of the Mississippi Code to allow the State Superintendent of Public Education to appoint a designee to attend meetings of the State and School Employees Health Insurance Management Board instead of attending personally.

The State Superintendent's designee authority mirrors existing designee authority already granted to the Commissioner of Insurance under the same statute.

The State and School Employees Health Insurance Management Board administers the State and School Employees Life and Health Insurance Plan and selects third-party administrators for the program.

The board consists of 13 voting members including state officials and two gubernatorial appointees with health insurance experience, plus four ex officio nonvoting legislative members.

Takes effect upon passage.
