Amends the School Recognition Program to require local superintendents to approve which certified employees receive nonrecurring salary supplements from school recognition awards.

School recognition awards are distributed based on accountability ratings: $100 per pupil for "A" rated schools, $75 per pupil for "B" rated schools, or $100 per pupil for schools improving one letter grade.

Establishes that eligible staff for supplements include all certified employees required to hold a license from the State Department of Education, with awards distributed through a teacher committee process.

Requires each school's teacher committee decision on award distribution to be submitted to the district office for superintendent approval before forwarding to the State Department of Education.

Effective July 1, 2019.
