Amends the definition of "surveying practice" in Mississippi Code Section 73-13-71 to exclude work products that represent only generalized locations of features or boundaries that the public would not reasonably rely upon as precise locations.

Excludes from the definition of surveying practice the transcription of previously created data into any presentation format by manual or electronic means, provided the data is clearly not intended to indicate authoritative property boundary locations or precise earth contours.

Updates Section 73-13-3 to clarify that engineering surveys exclude the practice of surveying as defined in the revised Section 73-13-71.

Changes terminology in Section 73-13-71 from numbered paragraphs to lettered subsections (a, b, c, d) and numbered items within subsection (d).

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
