Creates new Section 49-7-31.6 to establish procedures for issuing special deer depredation permits when deer damage crops on private or privately leased lands upon request of landowners or lessees with agricultural rights.

Requires the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks to test all deer harvested under depredation permits for chronic wasting disease.

Prohibits depredation permits from being issued for publicly owned or controlled lease lands in the state.

Authorizes the department to assist landowners sustaining crop damage by wildlife in eradication efforts and to supervise harvesting and salvage of meat from depredated wildlife.

Repeals former Section 49-7-31(4) regarding depredation permits and renumbers subsequent subsections accordingly, effective July 1, 2019.
