Mississippi Development Authority is authorized to sell, lease, or dispose of three tracts of real property in Lowndes County and Columbus totaling approximately 32.4 acres in its sole discretion.

Property sales must be at not less than fair market value determined by average of two appraisals by certified appraisers, with one selected by the Department of Finance and Administration.

Any proceeds from property sales shall be deposited into the state land acquisition fund.

Mississippi Transportation Commission is authorized to lease a 1.53-acre property in Oxford to the Mississippi Department of Human Services, which may sublease it to another entity.

The Oxford lease shall automatically terminate upon notification that the Transportation Commission has sufficient funding to contract for State Route 7 expansion in Lafayette County south of Oxford.
