Amends Section 35-1-1 of Mississippi Code to allow the State Veterans Affairs Board to also be referred to as the "Mississippi Veterans Affairs"

Establishes that beginning July 1, 2019, any code reference to the State Veterans Affairs Board shall also mean the Mississippi Veterans Affairs

Board consists of seven members appointed by the Governor with Senate advice and consent, including one member from each of five congressional districts and two at-large members

All board members must be honorably discharged or released veterans of any war or police action involving U.S. Armed Forces

Takes effect July 1, 2019
