Amends Mississippi Code Section 45-9-55 to prohibit public and private employers from establishing policies that ban employees from transporting or storing firearms in locked vehicles in parking lots, parking garages, or other designated parking areas.

Removes the previous exception that allowed private employers to prohibit firearms in employee parking areas with restricted access (gated, security stations, or other limited-access parking).

Exempts vehicles owned or leased by employers and used by employees for business purposes from the firearms transportation protections.

Does not authorize firearm transportation or storage on premises where possession is prohibited by state or federal law.

Provides employers immunity from civil liability for damages arising from incidents involving firearm transportation, storage, possession, or use covered under this section; effective July 1, 2019.
