Recognizes legendary Ole Miss linebacker Patrick Willis upon his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame on December 10, 2018

Willis was a four-year letterman at Ole Miss (2003-2006) who earned two-time First-Team All-American honors and won the SEC Defensive Player of the Year Award in both 2005 and 2006

As a senior in 2006, Willis recorded 137 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and seven pass breakups, earning selection to 13 All-American teams

Willis was drafted 11th overall by the San Francisco 49ers in 2007 and had a distinguished NFL career including seven Pro Bowl selections, five First-Team All-Pro honors, and leading the 49ers' defense to a Super Bowl appearance in 2012

Resolution directs that the resolution be presented to Willis and forwarded to University of Mississippi leadership and the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning
