Commends Lori Feng of Starkville for being named "Distinguished Young Woman of Mississippi for 2019" on July 15, 2018, making her the second consecutive Starkville recipient to win the state competition.

Awarded Lori $9,000 in scholarship money, Overall Talent Award, and Overall Scholastic Award at the state competition.

Competition scoring comprised 25% interview, 25% academics, 15% fitness, 20% talent, and 15% self-expression; Lori performed "The Liszt Etude No. 1" on piano for her talent portion.

Lori is a senior at Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus and the daughter of Li Wang and Gary Feng; she will compete in the National Program in Mobile, Alabama in June 2019.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Lori Feng and the Director of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.
