Extends recognition of the Mississippi Legislature to Hartley and Mary Peavey for receiving the 2019 Governor's Choice Award from the Governor's Arts Awards Program.

Acknowledges Hartley Peavey's founding of Peavey Electronics in 1965, which grew from a bedroom operation in Meridian, Mississippi to a global manufacturer distributing to 136 countries with over 180 patents earned.

Recognizes Mary Peavey's service as company President and recipient of the Women's International Music Network's "Icon Award," as well as her work as a Mississippi Arts Commissioner from 2011 to 2016.

Notes the Peaveys' $3 million donation of a facility (Peavey Annex) to Newton County School District in 2017 to support arts education and their role in producing the Mississippi GRAMMY Celebration series promoting Mississippi's musical heritage.
