Adams County Christian School "Rebels" football team won the MAIS Class AAA State Championship on November 15, 2018, defeating No. 1 seed Indianola Academy 29-17 at Jackson Academy.

The championship was the team's first state title since 1982, ending a 36-year drought, despite forfeiting their first seven games due to an ineligible player and having to win out to make the playoffs as the No. 14 seed.

The Rebels scored 22 points in the second quarter to overcome a 17-7 deficit and establish a 29-17 halftime lead that held as the final score, with the defense shutting out Indianola in the second half.

The resolution recognizes Head Coach David King, the 20-player roster, and commends the student athletes for bringing honor to Adams County Christian School and the State of Mississippi.

The resolution directs that a copy be presented to Head Coach David King and forwarded to Principal Rick Fife and the Board of Trustees of Adams County Christian School.
