Commends and congratulates the William Carey University "Lady Crusaders" Women's Soccer Team for winning the 2018 NAIA National Championship by defeating Keiser University 1-0, which is the program's first national title and the school's second national championship overall.

Recognizes Head Coach Danny Owens for his 14th season achievement, including a 21-3 record in 2018, seven Conference Championships over 14 years, and 10 National Tournament appearances in 11 seasons with an overall record of 215-62-14.

Honors individual and team achievements including Danny Owens as NAIA Coach of the Year and SSAC Coach of the Year, Ana Paula Santos as NAIA Tournament MVP and NAIA First-Team All-American, and April Stewart as NAIA National Tournament Defensive MVP.

Lists the complete 2018 championship roster of 25 players and coaching staff (Head Coach Danny Owens, Assistant Coaches Ryan Weir and Chloe Crook).

Directs the resolution be presented to Coach Owens and William Carey President Dr. Raymond Thomas King, forwarded to the Board of Trustees, and made available to Capitol Press Corps.
