Ocean Springs High School Girls Soccer Team won the MHSAA Class 6A State Championship on February 9, 2019, defeating Madison Central 1-0 in a penalty shootout after regulation and overtime ended scoreless.

All eight Ocean Springs penalty kickers were successful, with goalkeeper A'leigh Coleman making a crucial save and Jackie Dilorenzo scoring the championship-winning kick in the eighth round.

The Lady Greyhounds finished 17-3-3 and won their second state title in Head Coach Neil Scott's first season, allowing only one goal across 400 minutes of playoff play.

The team roster consists of 30 players including goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards, along with Head Coach Neil Scott and Assistant Coach Mike Martin.

The concurrent resolution commends and congratulates the team members, coaches, parents, and sponsors for bringing honor to Ocean Springs High School and the State of Mississippi.
