Commends and congratulates the DeSoto Central High School cheerleading squad for winning the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) World Game Day Championship in February 2019 in Orlando, Florida.

Honors the team for repeating the Super Varsity National Championship, making them the first cheerleading squad in the country to achieve back-to-back national titles in this competition.

Recognizes Coach Marie Harlow and Coach Joseph Arkansas for leading the 27-member squad, which also won State and Regional competitions prior to the Florida performances.

Notes the squad achieved the highest scores of any school competing in the Game Day competition season and earned National Jackets, World Jackets, and World Medals.

Directs the resolution to be presented to the coaches and DeSoto Central Principal Cliff Johnston, forwarded to the DeSoto County Board of Education, and shared with the Capitol Press Corps.
