Commends Simpson County Academy "Lady Cougars" girls basketball team and head coach Linda Dear for winning the 2019 MAIS AAAA Division II State Championship with a 31-8 record.

Recognizes four players for tournament honors: Morgan Griffith, Alissa Grace Brewer, T.K. Catchings, and Alexis Sullivan made the All-State Team, with Morgan Griffith also earning All-Star Team honors.

Lists all 15 roster members, head coach Linda Dear, three assistant coaches (Chaucer Funchess, Brandi Giordano, and Chris Caughman), and support staff.
