Recognizes Mrs. Katie Rose McClendon of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on the occasion of her 100th birthday celebration, which falls on September 6, 2019.

Acknowledges her civic and charitable contributions, including service on boards for the Salvation Army, Hattiesburg Family Y, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Notes her establishment of scholarship endowments at three Mississippi universities and her work teaching Sunday School at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church until age 96.

Recognizes that her 100-year lifespan has encompassed the administrations of 18 U.S. Presidents and 26 Mississippi Governors, and major historical events including the invention of the automobile and man's walk on the moon.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Mrs. McClendon and her family, forwarded to the University of Southern Mississippi, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
