Recognizes the cultural contributions of the Central Mississippi Blues Society, a nonprofit organization chartered by the International Blues Foundation that promotes blues music and arts education in central Mississippi since 2006.

Acknowledges the organization's initiatives including a weekly Blues Jam running for 13 years, Blues in the Schools programs, and Blues in the Park events to promote Mississippi's blues heritage to youth and communities.

Names founding artists including Jessie Robinson, Lloyd Munn, Robert (Bull) Jackson, Dwight Ross, Austin Neil, Kirk Neil, and Abdul Rasheed, along with board members Pat Brown, Abdul Rasheed, Keith Collins, and Malcolm Shepherd.

Lists over 30 blues performers who have performed at Blue Monday events including Bobbie Rush, Dorothy Moore, Cedric Burnside, and others representing Mississippi's music heritage.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Malcolm Shepherd Jr., the Central Mississippi Blues Society, and the Mississippi Arts Commission.
