Commends the Velma Jackson High School "Falcons" boys basketball team for winning the 2019 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 3A State Basketball Championship on March 9, 2019, with a record of 25 wins and 6 losses.

Recognizes Head Coach Chris Love for his leadership in guiding the team to victory, which was the Falcons' fifth state championship title in seven years.

Highlights standout players Jordan Harvey (named Most Valuable Player with 12 points and 18 rebounds), Josh Lee (15 points), Leaveon Griffin (12 points), and Charlie Jones (11 points) in the championship game victory over Holly Springs High School, 59-44.

Notes that Head Coach Chris Love is the son of Lewis Love, Jr., who coached the 1997 Canton High School boys basketball team to a Class 4A state championship, making him a second-generation championship coach.
