Recognizes three educators from George County who received the 2019 Mississippi Excellence in Education Awards at the March 1, 2019 ceremony held at the Jackson Convention Center.

Awards Layne Fore (Central Elementary School) as Early Career Educator of the Year for her innovative first-grade instruction that includes teaching sign language and fostering a respectful classroom environment.

Awards Dr. Zach Bost (Central Elementary School) as Administrator of the Year for implementing "Tiger Time" tutoring and the House System, resulting in significant academic growth and multiple school recognitions.

Awards Mrs. Lisa Renfroe (George County Middle School) as Middle School Teacher of the Year for her ability to engage students and provide support to struggling learners and her peers.

Directs presentation of the resolution to award recipients, school principals, and the George County Board of Education.
