Amends Mississippi Code Section 83-11-101 to require uninsured motorist (UM) coverage limits be automatically equal to bodily injury and property damage liability coverage limits for policies issued after July 1, 2020.

Allows named insureds to select lower UM coverage limits in writing, but not less than minimum limits required by the Mississippi Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Law.

Once an insured selects lower UM limits in writing, those lower limits may continue in renewal policies by the same insurer unless the insured requests higher limits.

Requires that whenever a new application is submitted for renewal, reinstatement, or replacement, the automatic equal-limits provision applies as if a new policy were being issued.

Effective date: July 1, 2020.
