Requires each educator preparation program in Mississippi to include Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators examination and Praxis II examination preparatory review courses as part of curriculum beginning in 2020-2021 academic year.

Grants standard five-year renewable teacher licenses to instructional staff employed by public or nonpublic schools for a minimum of five years before the bill's effective date, even if they have not yet achieved passing scores on Praxis Core and Praxis II examinations.

Requires teachers granted licenses under the five-year experience provision to complete all professional development training, continuing education unit courses, and other requirements stipulated by the commission for license renewal.

Extends the same five-year employment-based licensure pathway to teachers hired under nontraditional routes and nonlicensed teaching personnel who meet the five-year service requirement.
