Beginning in the 2020-2021 school year, attendance centers shall receive separate accountability grades for K-8 students on a 700-point scale and for grades 9-12 students on a 1,000-point scale.

The Commission on School Accreditation shall use the same components outlined in the 2018 Public School Accountability Standards when assigning these separate grades.

This change applies to the assignment of accountability labels and grading assignments to K-12 attendance centers for accreditation purposes.

The effective date of the act is July 1, 2020.
