Amends Section 43-13-115 of the Mississippi Code to add paragraph (28) establishing automatic continued Medicaid eligibility for individuals who were in foster care and receiving Medicaid on their twenty-first birthday.

Former foster care youth who age out of coverage under paragraph (23) at age twenty-one remain eligible for Medicaid until their twenty-sixth birthday if not enrolled in another mandatory Medicaid coverage group.

The Division of Medicaid is responsible for determining eligibility of individuals under this new coverage category.

Effective date is July 1, 2020.
