Prohibits managed care organizations under Mississippi Medicaid from transferring an enrolled beneficiary to another managed care organization or to fee-for-service Medicaid providers more than once per twelve-month period.

Allows transfers more frequently than once per twelve months only if the Division of Medicaid determines there is a significant medical reason for the additional transfer.

Applies to all health maintenance organizations, coordinated care organizations, provider-sponsored health plans, and other capitated-basis organizations operating under state Medicaid managed care programs.

Effective July 1, 2020.
