Adds licensed athletic trainers with Board Certification from the Board of Certification, Inc. to the list of school employees eligible for an annual $6,000 salary supplement.

Athletic trainers must be employed by a local school board or State Board of Education (not as administrators) and submit certification documentation to the State Department of Education before October 15 for full-year eligibility or before February 15 for prorated supplement.

Limits the total number of licensed athletic trainers eligible for the salary supplement to twenty (20).

Provides one-time reimbursement to athletic trainers for actual certification process costs, not to exceed $500 per component and four components total.

Effective July 1, 2020.
